写真をもとに鉛筆画の自動ドローイングを行うアプリケーション。
予めサンプリングされたストロークのパターンを入力画像から抽出した情報をもとに選定しレンダリングを行う。画像の陰影の方向を検出し、ストロークの方向を決定するためドローイングに近い画風を得られる。
Carbon is an application of automatic drawing based on photos. Based on the information extracted from the input image, it selects the pre-sampled stroke patterns and renders output image. It is possible to obtain a pencil-style drawing image, according to detect the shade direction of the image and determine the direction of the stroke.
